Miraculously, Matthew's counts shot up overnight and he was released this a.m. More news later - too much to do and enjoy!!

have been keeping up with you through Carol Baan in Canada....I have another germ cell kid, Lizzie, nearly 5 years out, surgery originally in Hopkins with Dr Weingart, who was the best ever, and did not damage...she is pure germ cell, so we had to find out..no BHcG, etc. Either way, she did chemo only and we were based in Norfolk, she relapsed, and we did rads at St Jude...she is now fine, and in 6th grade. You are strong in our prayers..I know you have surgery tomorrow...also, we were always always inpatient for low/no counts, fever,yucky everything...it happens, rough chemo. Hang in there, we are with you in spirit.
